MMS MT Report

The MT Report provides an aggregated view of your MT messaging and indicates instances of high failure rates. The report shows all MT messages by short code and mobile operator, whether they were accepted for delivery and successfully forwarded, and whether the end user downloaded them.

Note that because some devices and operator networks do not send back delivery reports/receipts, the number of confirmed downloads may not be 100% accurate.

If the report indicates instances of high failure rates, it could mean that there is a problem on the operator network or that you are using the wrong settings in your requests.

Field descriptions

Field	Description
Account ID	The OpenMarket customer account ID associated with the transaction.
Short Code	The short code that sent the MT message.
Carrier	The name of the mobile operator.
Accepted	The number of requests sent that OpenMarket accepted.
Failed	The number of requests sent that were failed by either OpenMarket or the mobile operator, before any attempt was made to deliver the message.
Successfully Forwarded	The number of requests accepted by both OpenMarket and then the mobile operator. Note that the mobile operator may still reject the message after processing.
Confirmed Downloaded	The number of MMS messages that were successfully delivered to the end user's handset. The percentage shown is the number of confirmed downloads divided by the number of accepted requests. Note that not all mobile operators will return a delivery report even if the end user received the MMS.
