MMS MT Delivery Report Analysis

This report provides several counts of delivery reports/receipts, including total, retrieved, expired, and rejected. The information is presented by short code and mobile operator. The Total count should match the Successfully Forwarded amount in the MT report, and the Retrieved count should match the data used in the Confirmed Downloaded column in the MT report.

This information provides visibility into what happens to your MTs once they are forwarded to end users. Rejected MTs might mean that the handset couldn’t process the content, while expired MTs could be numbers that are no longer active.

Note that not every mobile operator will return delivery reports, or will only return a subset of them.
