MMS Log View Report

This report provides a list of all MMS MTs sent and MOs received, within a specific date range. Messages are listed by ID, but you can filter the report by phone number, message ID, MT config, or shortcode, or combination of these.

Use this report to quickly find a particular end user’s MMS, or to get a detailed view of your MMS traffic.

Field descriptions

Field

Description

Message ID

The unique identifier for the MMS transaction.

Type

Whether the MMS was a mobile terminated (MT) or mobile originated (MO) message.

Time (UTC)

The date and time (in UTC) the request was made.

Short Code

The short code that sent the MT message or received the MO message.

MT Config

The MT configuration used when sending the message. This field is blank for MO message entries.

Phone Number

The end user's mobile phone number including the country code.

Carrier

The name of the mobile operator.

Outcome

The state of the MMS transaction, one of:

  • Accepted
  • Forwarding Failed
  • Successfully Forwarded
  • Report: Retrieved
  • Report: Expired
  • Report: Rejected
  • Report: Other
Fields available only in the modal window or CSV file. (The modal window opens if you click on a specific Message ID in the UI.)

Failure Reason

The text description supplied by OpenMarket is the event failed.

Subject

The subject field of the MMS message.

Message Size

 The size in bytes of the MMS message.

Note

Any note text supplied by your system for this entry. This is supplied using the optional note parameter in a request.

Subaccount

Any subaccount text supplied by your system for this entry. This is supplied using the optional subaccount parameter in a request.

Report Status

(CSV only)

The exact text description of the delivery report the mobile operator sent. For example, if the "Outcome" is for "Report:Other", then you can find out more information by looking at this column.

User Agent

(CSV only)

The device type of the end user's handset, if known.
