Editing or Canceling a Broadcast

Edit a scheduled broadcast

You can edit broadcasts that are scheduled in the future. While you are in the edit screen, the broadcast is put on hold. This enables you to make changes without the broadcast beginning.

Note: If you close the browser window while editing a broadcast, it will remain on hold in the edit state. To change the state you must click the Edit Icon and then choose to Reactivate the broadcast.

To edit a broadcast:

1. Click the Broadcasts tab.
2. Click the Edit Broadcast icon () for the broadcast you want to edit, and then confirm that you want to edit it.
3. Edit the broadcast as needed.

4. Do one of the following:

   • Click Save Changes when ready.
   • Click Back if you do not want to change the broadcast.

   You must select one of the options above, or the broadcast will remain on hold in an edit state.

Cancel a broadcast

To cancel a broadcast:

1. Click the Broadcasts tab.
2. Click the Deactivate icon () for the broadcast.

If the broadcast is already underway, this stops MEP from continuing to process the broadcast in any further way. For broadcasts that send out messages, this stops any remaining messages from being sent. If your broadcast triggered a MEP service, then end users who have had the service triggered for them will continue to be able to interact with the service.
